For all those who have ever asked, "How does she do it?"
The simple answer: I don't.
This is a testimony to the power of God. (How does anyone be a Mum without Him???)
A reminder for those times when I'm speaking as if I have it all together.
It's only 9:30am on Monday morning and I've already cleaned up more wee and poo than I care to think, faced wilful defiance and broken down crying in front of fighting kids because I just can't do this anymore. (Most of that, with one of them asleep in bed).
The house is a mess, the washing needs hanging out, I don't know what we're having for tea and, for that matter, what we're having for the rest of the week - a bit of a problem because it's a doozy! (out every night except tonight). I also feel a bit ordinary health-wise.
One thing though - I don't actually feel hopeless. Praise God!!
I do know that He is here, amidst all the mess and chaos and confusion.
He is a good God and only capable of giving good things.
I love Him so much and am so thankful of the way He works things out.
I am going to go and finish hanging out the washing now.
Just writing this has reminded me of His goodness.
I'm going to trust in that :-)
